Dear Friend,

In February we sponsored a marriage seminar with Focus on the Family. There was so much interest that we sold out of tickets and had to find a larger place so more could attend. We ended up having more that 700 people attend! Events such as this, for Spanish speaking people, are rare. Pray with us that this will make a big impact on the homes and marriages in El Paso and Juárez.

A couple of weeks ago we had a concert to celebrate the 14th anniversary of KVER in El Paso. A well-known singer from the Dominican Republic was here, and we had a sold out crowd with over 4,000 in attendance!

While at the concert a young teen came up to Paul and said she just wanted to really thank us for having the marriage seminar the month before. She said that her parents had been getting a divorce, but after the attended they conference they did not divorce and were doing much better. The young lady was so appreciative; we give the glory to God! We thank God that the girl felt led to share that with us so that we could be encouraged!

Paul has made several trips to Arizona in the last couple of months. He is waiting for a shipment of equipment, and then he will be off again for about a week. His back and hip are still bothering him, and it makes travel more difficult and uncomfortable, so continue to pray for him.

Our family is fine. My (Shari’s) parents were here for a visit last week. We are all

doing well in school. Scott and Andrea have told us that we will have our fourth grandchild in October! Pray for a safe pregnancy for Andrea.
