Personal Testimony:

I was saved on January 10, 1981, and Spirit Filled about 6 months later. 

On July 23, 1983 my family were the victims of an attempted murder.  I was stabbed about seven times while I lay sleeping, and I was reported dead by a police officer and a neighbor. The Lord had other plans!, When I awoke in the hospital then is when I learned that my 4 month old daughter Nichole (photo right below) was also stabbed in the back, and my former wife Dawn was stabbed in the center of her chest.  This was a case of someone using drugs and alcohol and opened themselves up to demon possession, and he decided to kill us all for no real apparent reason. We are all living miracles!

I have given my personal testimony several times for the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship in Phoenix and Alamogordo Chapters.  Also, a few times while live on television with KVBA during Telethons.  I have learned to just Trust in the Lord at all times!

My wife Nannette and I moved to Alamogordo in 2001 after I resigned from the Arizona Department of Corrections, and my last five years was as a Sergeant and Recruiter of Correctional Cadets.  Nannette was born and raise in Alamogordo and her background is rooted in the Baca family.

We have had many turbulent times, and in 2003 I almost lost my right leg due to a Black Widow spider bite that gave me the Flesh Eating Virus.  Yet, we continued to do ministry where the Lord opened doors for us.  We have taught about 25 students on How to Heal the Sick, and this is a foundation course of Charles and Francis Hunter of about 16 hours.  Teaching how to heal the sick is so very easy, and the power of God' is always present to heal the sick.  Often I'm surprised just how easy it is, but after all the Apostle Paul said it best: "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power" 1 Corinthians 2:4

God's Word is not in words but in power otherwise it's just nice words.  So that your faith will rest not in words but in God's power.  What makes your words different from the non-Christian religion?  It should be in power, as the Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever.  People need to see this power of God in manifestation, and these are the signs that will follow the Word!  Otherwise, you just have nice sounding empty words with no proof of what your teaching.  Fear is what holds most people back from trusting the Lord.  Remember, it's not you that has the power, but Jesus/Yeshua in you, and living through you.  Jesus/Yeshua is Lord!  We are just the instrument he will use to confirm the Word we speak.

I have enjoyed working as a Correctional and Detention Officer, but my heart always comes back to serving the Lord and Ministering where we can.  Nannette plays the Guitar and the Bass.  We enjoyed being a part of Beth Yachad, a Jewish Messianic Spirit Filled Congregation in Phoenix, Arizona, where Nannette played the Bass Guitar, and even appeared once on TBN with the Music Team.

We are now part of a local Messianic Congregation in Alamogordo under Rabbi Silver.  If you think about it, the word Christian is from the Hebrew word Messiah or Anointed One.  So the early church were known as Messianic's.
