Rick's doing well,
thank you for asking. We are believing that this will be a good thing and that
all will turn out well, for the glory of God. We both want to feel well so that
we can serve the Lord more. I've completely changed our eating - more live foods
(fruits and veggies, nuts, etc.) and less dead food (junk). I've added about 2
hours of exercising each day and in the past 3 months have lost 20 pounds and 15
inches from chest to hips. Unfortunately, in this healthy eating, Rick also lost
20 pounds, which he didn't need to do! So, we are trying to fatten him up a
little - in a healthy way. We found out in the hospital that Rick's heart and
veins, etc. are very good - - it was just his electrical system in his heart
that needed help. Now that we've fixed that, he should be fine for a long
time....which does my own heart good. He's got some recovery time, but that will
fly by I'm sure.
God bless you!
Kim

7/26/2007 Ryan's final battle and glorious victory!
By Jim Oyster at the Funeral of Ryan
Oyster
My life with Ryan began on April 20, 1984 when I
married Evelyn Anderson (that is Evelyn and her son). Ryan was 4 years old. He
was full of life and in no small measure fulfilled God's promise to me of
resurrection life as I knew the joy of his boundless energy as a child.
In years to come, Ryan will have much to say to the
world because of his faith in Christ. Those words will be spoken through the
love of his life, Rachel, and through their 4 children, Jacob, Garrett, Grace,
and Gage.
But today, in a reversal of the way things should be,
I would like to be the spokesman for my son, Ryan, and bring these words to you
from the other side of the veil. Having come face to face with his Father in
glory, I know that Ryan would want to have one last word for the wonderful
mother that brought him into this world.
The words that I believe Ryan would speak are as
follows.
"Mom, you are a very special lady. You helped me climb
the stairs of life. Although there were times when I fell, you were always there
to pick me up. But most importantly, you helped me find the stairway to heaven.
To be honest with you, when it was my time to make the final climb, it was easy
– in fact I flew like an eagle."
"You believed God's word that if you train up a child
in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it. Perhaps it
was because of the war, but for some reason the time for me to depart this earth
came before anyone expected. I grew old at the age of 27, and I just want you to
know that I have not departed from the faith that you imparted to me as a child
growing up."
"I have to go now, but it is only for a season.
Because of you, our whole family will be reunited one day, and all of us will be
at rest in the perfect love that I am now experiencing."
"I love you, Mom."

Eye Sight
April 17, 2007
Lynda
My eyesight was getting very dim, and I was afraid I was going blind! I
was thankful to learn that my problem was caused by cataracts on both eyes, and
surgery could correct the problem! I received ultrasound and laser surgery over
a period of several months. Now I can see clearly, and I praise God!

Hey ya'all!
Got a really cool praise report to pass on.
My buddy Ray's daughter was in town for a bit
visiting with the grandbaby and heading back over to Turkey where they are
stationed. While at JFK in NY the baby got sick. Threw up, turned blue,
paramedics showed up and the whole nine yards. The airlines were not going to
let the baby fly so it looked like Ray may try and get his daughter and
granddaughter back here for a bit until she was better. Ray caught me in the
parking lot at work as I was coming in from lunch and ask me to lift them up in
prayer. So as I was walking around the store I did. There were also others
praying for them as well across town. I had some ideas on how the Air Force may
be able to help get them back here so I went back to talk to Ray. By then (30
minutesish), the baby was okay, but the family couldn't leave until the
next day.
Well Ray and I both got busy again at work and about
another hour later I checked in with Ray and he told me the baby was fine,
cleared to fly the next day by the docs, and the airlines was going to pay for
the hotel for the night and give them meal vouchers! The only worry the family
had was tooth brushes :) Ain't God good?
One more then I need to get to work
Had a feller get up at church yesterday and told us of
his battle with prostate cancer. Docs found a couple golfball size tumors and
they needed to operate. Trouble is, he also has heart problems. Sooo they need
to hold off for a bit. The guy came to the church and asked the elders to pray
for him and anoint him with oil. The guy went back to the docs for the surgery
and when the docs went to check him for the tumors, they was gone!
He told them what he had done, and the doctor asked
"what kind of oil was it?" Well, it's just the healing power of the Big Doc is
all. God is sure good isn't He?
