A Church?
|

No, KVBA is not a church. In fact, KVBA supports the local church and
advises all our viewers to find a local church that exalts Jesus Christ and then
join it.

How Does KVBA Support
The Local Church?

KVBA has been called of the Lord to be an out-reach arm of the local Church. We
provide many ways to advance the local church. The following list will help you
understand how we assist the local church:

Televised City wide services,
KVBA broadcasts for special occasions.

Church Bulleting Board,
Email your entries to

Face
to Face, a local interview style
program that allows pastors to share their viewpoints and promote their church.
The program is temporarily on hold for auditorium renovations.

Weekly preaching,
Available in 30 min slots to broadcast your sermons to our viewing audience.

Television
Broadcast training, and experience. Audio and video production that includes hands on
training to enable your congregation to televise your services and events.

Where Can I Find KVBA? |
|
KVBA is a broadcast television ministry. KVBA can be viewed on UHF channel
19 and UHF channel 63 in South Central NM and portions of the East side of El Paso, Texas, as well
as portions of Juarez, Mexico. If you have cable you can view us on cable
channel 22.

Who
Runs KVBA? |

KVBA is governed by a local board of directors. The everyday activities are run
by the general manager Bill Oechsner. You can contact the general manager by

Will KVBA Have
To Go Digital in Feb 2009? |
|
No. As a "Low Power Class A"
station, KVBA will have until 2012,
the translators on Long Ridge will not be required to change either.
The thing that will cause us to
change to a digital high definition picture early will be determined by the
number of TV households in our area that can no longer receive standard TV.
Since the translators are not planning to change over, we will not change over
either. If we did
so before the translators, we wouldn’t have hardly any viewers. They would all
still be on standard TV’s.
